About

Growing up in The Forest (the actual name of my childhood neighborhood) was pretty surreal. My sister and I would hang in the trees, dodging deer and breaking bikes. When the snow started falling our dad would take us out of school on Friday's to ski. We would ride up in Bessie, the slowest Nissan pickup ever. Forgetting gloves and dropping pretty much everything until our dad would lose it. However descending from the flurry would leave us stoked on the next week. In high school not much changed. I would take Sapphire, the slowest minivan ever, to Stevens Pass. Packed with friends and tetris-ed with gear.

A rider first and a photographer second. I've learned that your background is important, but it's what you do with your gift that means something.
