You don't need much, I'm finding that living in a car and having a place to make tacos is perfect. It'd be tight, living in a house with a real kitchen, but I'm alive. I barley have enough money, but I have enough. Hundreds of emails and I get only a handful of jobs but it's enough. I mean you say these things but you don't really understand them until it happens. It sounds great until you say it.
I'll talk about this for just a sec, the eclipse was underwhelming. Maybe I'm cynical or wasn't in the right mindset but I was bummed. Basically someone put a tinted window up to the sun. I think it was just hyped up. People were talking about how they cried and the way the temperature shifted. But the only emotion I felt was anger when a crusty old dick flipped me off from his Bmw. Regardless of how it happened I am fortunate, even if it wasn't all it promised to be. But what's grace for? I would love to actually be in the right spot, prepared and balling my eyes out with all the woodland creatures.
So just take what you need, this week was just emails and laughs. and Tacos. What more could you want? You get what you give.
